 "Altivo" is a grey stud colt that was imported in-utero from Spain.  He was born in December 2007.  His sire is the revised P.R.E. black stallion Mercurio IV, located in Spain. Mercurio IV was bred by the Gil Y Gil Ranch and has a lot of Militar bloodlines. Altivo's dam is revised P.R.E. grey mare Karioca VIII.  Karioca VIII was bred in Spain by Yeguada Candau.  Both sire and dam can be seen on the Reference Horses page.  Altivo will be inscribed and presented for revision when old enough.
